1900年にスイス・バーゼルで創業した壁紙メーカー「ザルブラ社」が展開した壁紙の見本帳。「テッコー（TEKKO）」「ザルブラ（SALUBRA）」とは、壁紙の種類を指し、本作は「テッコー」シリーズの見本帳である。 朝香宮邸の竣工当時は、第一応接室、若宮寝室、若宮居間、殿下寝室、妃殿下寝室、妃殿下居間、姫宮寝室、姫宮居間、化粧室の壁紙にテッコーが使用されていた。現存する壁紙は、姫宮寝室、姫宮居間、化粧室（非公開）のみだが、第一応接室の壁紙は、同じ品番だが色は異なる「テッコー A5-217モスグリーン」で復元されている。

A wallpaper sample book distributed by Salubra, a wallpaper manufacturer founded in Basel, Switzerland in 1900. Tekko and Salubra refer to different types of wallpaper, and this item is the sample book for the Tekko series. When the Prince Asaka Residence was completed, Tekko wallpaper was used on the walls of the Official Waiting Room, Young Prince’s Bedroom, Young Prince’s Sitting Room, Prince’s Bedroom, Princess’s Bedroom, Princess’s Sitting Room, Young Princess’s Bedroom, Young Princess’s Sitting Room, and the Powder Room (Not open to the public). Only the wallpapers in the Young Princess’s Bedroom, Young Princess’s Sitting Room, and the Powder Room (Second Bathroom) survive today. The wallpaper in the Official Waiting Room has been restored using the same product number but a different color, Tekko A5-217 Moss Green.
