“What do you see? Treasure form the sea”
Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum presents Playdates at the Garden, a learning program for toddlers, young kids and their family.
Join us for an amusing introduction to the Museum and art through sessions that include story time, I spy, art making and so on. We hope this program will make our museum a favorite destination for you and your children.
On Gems and Jewellery of the Medici exhibition,
We focus on the shape.
The educator will talk about pearls,
the favorite treasure of the ladies of Medici.
But the pearls are not always sphere.
Let’s pick up a baroque pearl, a pearl with
irregular shape (sorry it’s not a real one)
and imagine what it looks like.
Then make your own pearl jewellery.
