During Your Visit

To protect the works of art on display and preserve the buildings, while allowing as many visitors as possible to enjoy them, we ask for your cooperation as follows:

  •  If the museum is crowded, you will be asked to wait before entering it.
  • Do not eat, drink, or make telephone calls inside the museum.
  • Do not touch the works of art or the buildings.
  • Do not take photographs in the galleries. (Exceptions may be made for some exhibitions.)
  • Use only pencils for taking notes inside the galleries. (Pencils may be borrowed from the reception desk.)
  • When talking, be considerate of other visitors.
