“Cheese, Fromage, Formaggio, Queso, Käse!!” — The Lands of Europe, Dairy Culture, Cheesemongers, and Fermier —

Natural cheeses born from European culture and landscapes, offering a rustic, nostalgic flavor. Crafted from the milk of cows, sheep, and goats, and fermented and aged by nature’s power, each cheese is unique.
This exhibition presents photographs by Masahiro Goda, capturing cheese production sites across Europe, scenes of cheese shops woven into French daily life, and the everyday at Japan’s cheese shop “Fermier.”
For those wondering, “What exactly does a cheese shop do?”, we hope these photographs will help you sense the profound world of cheese, the appeal of the cheese shop profession, and the culture behind it.
