A statue of a woman wearing a light dress and a long coat. With her short haircut and modern attire, the figure stands in a breezy pose, wearing a simple, knee-length dress and an opera-length pearl necklace.
The statue was created by the French sculptor Ivan-Léon Blanchot (1868-1947), who was also involved in the interior decoration of the Prince Asaka Residence. Blanchot taught Princess Nobuko watercolor painting during her time in France, and this sculpture is believed to have resulted from that interaction.
