The magazine Art and Decoration is a long-standing French art journal that has continued since its founding in 1897. From 1919 to 1938, it positioned itself as a monthly magazine of modern art, growing by absorbing other artistic journals like L'Architecture and Le Décor d’Aujourd’hui. Alongside stimulating articles by critics and curators, it also featured sections for book and exhibition reviews, broadly covering the trends of decorative arts at the time. These annual volumes are bound collections of magazine articles published between 1923 and 1929.
